Overview:

Boston’s Life is Good Watermelon Festival means lots of sweet, juicy watermelon and a big dose of fun, all for a good cause.

The Life is Good series of events benefits area youth programs such as Project Joy, a non-profit that uses the power of play to heal and strengthen the spirit of traumatized children.

This is a great way to have a good time, while helping others at the same time.

Your kids will appreciate the fact that they are benefiting those less fortunate than themselves, and they’ll have a great time doing it.

Of course there is watermelon for everyone, but that’s just the beginning.

Get in on the games, listen to live music, enjoy
some family entertainment and get your face painted.

This big outdoor summer splash still has a hometown, backyard feel. Held at one of the oldest parks in the nation, this is a great chance to kick back and have some good, old-fashioned festival fun.

And what better way to cool down on a hot summer day than some yummy fruit that just about requires you to spit the seeds?
