Overview:
Boston’s Faneuil Hall is transformed into a culinary fair, on the first
Wednesday evening of every month, when vendors from restaurants all over the
area entice visitors with free samples of their delicious cuisine.

All types of restaurants are represented, from Indian to Mexican, from traditional Boston fish to savory pastries.
Faneuil Hall and the Quincy Market have always been about food. Built in 1762, it was originally home to fishermen, food merchants, meat and produce vendors, and spice purveyors.
Its central location also provided a
forum for such colonial orators as Samuel Adams. The Greek rival-style Quincy Market was added in the mid-1800s as the market expanded.

Today, these two establishments are home to over 70 retail establishments, 14 restaurants, and over 40 food stalls. One of the most famous and historic of Boston’s restaurants, Durgin-Park, is one of the anchors here.
Located right on the Freedom Trail, this marketplace has become a symbol of Boston and is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions. Live music in the summer, street performers, and, of course, delicious food, make this a delightful place to visit.
