Disney on Ice: Princess Classics

Location: TD BankNorth Garden

Time: January 1, 2006
Cost: $15-$70

Overview:
This is a show for families, but particularly those with kids and up through the teens…and especially families with girls into the “princess” thing. It’s all the glitz and excitement of the Disney

tradition with costumes and lots of sparkles, but it’s also a spectacular ice show to watch.

The show, itself, goes back in time to capture the magic and the beauty of Disney’s original princess – Snow White.

And from there it breaks into songs from the movies, along with a huge helping of special effects and a revolving castle that morphs from an Arabian palace to Sleeping Beauty’s towers.

There are other characters, too – like the irrepressible Genie (voice by Robin

Williams) and favorites like “The Seven Dwarfs,” which always produce “ahhs” from the audience.

But, come prepared. This show lasts about twice as long as, well, other children’s shows, such as “The Wiggles.” The first half tells the tales of six princesses. The second half presents Cinderella in much more detail, complete with the grand ballroom finale…but, as Disney usually delivers, you’ll love every minute!
