|
If you said yes, then bring them to the museum for this interactive exhibit.
Kids will learn all about the owls native to the Boston area and how they interact with the local environment.
Besides being beautiful birds, Owls are often used as symbols in various cultures.
Discover why some consider the owl to be wise, like Owl in Winnie the Pooh, and why other cultures see owls as an omen. |
These beautiful and unique birds are not often seen in real life, as they hide high in the trees at night. But, here is your chance to see the many types of owls through paintings and sculpture, and to even learn how to hoot like one.
That’s right. Your kids will have a great time listening to the “hoot box” filled with owl music and various calls. Other fun activities include an owl survival game and an owl puzzle, complete with clues for you to solve.
