Oksana Baiul and 2006 Olympic silver medalists Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto,
all of whom are veterans of the show. 2006 Olympians Emily Hughes and Matt
Savoie, 15-time National Synchronized Skating Champions the Haydenettes, 2 time
Olympic champions Ludmilla and Oleg Protopopov, and many more world class and
local skaters are also to attend.
The show will be hosted by 1992 Olympic silver medalist and
Harvard graduate (class of ’90) Paul Wylie, who marks his 22nd appearance at An
Evening with Champions.
Marking the 37th exhibition performance to benefit the Jimmy Fund, skating stars
both past and present will take the ice to raise awareness and financial support
for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Since its founding in 1970
by former US champion John Misha Petkevich, this entirely student-run event has
raised more than $2.3 million for pediatric cancer aid and research.
Founded in 1948 to raise funds for the fight against children’s cancer, the
Jimmy Fund supports the search for new cancer treatments for both adults and
children at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world-renowned pioneer in
discovering and developing innovative and effective cancer therapies.
Tickets cost $32 for adults and $12 for children and senior citizens. Tickets
may be purchased by calling the Harvard Box Office at (617) 496-2222 or online
