The Duckling Day Parade in Boston is a Mother‘s Day event. This parade has been inspired by Robert McCloskey‘s book ""Make Way for Ducklings."" The small duckling sculptures are beautiful fixtures at the Public Garden during the warm months of the year. In winter, they are stored away. The parade on Mother‘s Day marks the return of the sculptures to the park.
