It’s a day where the entire family can listen to the likes of Janis Ian, Patti Griffin, Chris Smither and Suzanne Vega, cruise the tables and booths of some of New England leading artists and crafters or enjoy a juggernaut of junk food, served by vendors of every description.
But for the hard core folk music aficionado, this is it – the best of the best and one of the most outstanding lineups of folk music artists in the country.
It’s Worchester’s own Valerie and Walter Crocket, the legendary Guy Davis, Ruthie Foster from Texas and Annie Gallup, the musical daughter of Joanie Mitchell and Lou Reed. |
It’s a time and a place where you can immerse yourself in some of the finest folk music in the country, a time where families can make memories and an opportunity to sit back, relax and breathe in some of folk music’s great performances.
