The Wang Theater has earned a lasting place in the hearts of New Englanders as host to some of the most talented and legendary performers of the 20th century including Duke Ellington, Martha Graham, Al Jolson, Rudolf Nureyev, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Bob Hope and Luciano Pavarotti.

Opened in 1925, the theater has gone through many changes and different names. The year was 1983 when Dr. An Wang, founder of Wang Laboratories, gave a sizable donation and inspired the community to join him in the preservation of the theater.

Since its restoration, The Wang Theatre has hosted an impressive array of world-class theater, music, dance and film.
