The TD Banknorth Garden, originally known as the Fleet Center, is Boston’s premiere venue for concerts, sports, and other special events. The Garden opened in 1995 as the new home of the Boston Bruins NHL franchise and the NBA Boston Celtics.

Throughout the last decade, millions have filled the seats of this immense arena, enjoying not only these top-notch sports teams but also concerts by the world’s best entertainers, wrestling, ice shows, family events, and much more.

Young and old alike will love the TD Banknorth Garden, with its nearly 20,000 seats, three private restaurants, an amazing scoreboard, and the newest in 360 degree LED technology. Thirty-six concession stands are onsite so the kids will never be hungry here at the Garden!

There’s also a Sports Museum on site that profiles the rich heritage of sports throughout New England, through the display of interesting artifacts and memorabilia, interactive displays, and lots of photographs and works of art. The arena and museum are conveniently located in the city’s Downtown North section, within a comfortable distance from the historic end of town.
