The Jordan Hall is one of Boston’s most historic performing arts venues.
A part of the highly-acclaimed New England Conservatory of Music,
this music hall opened in 1903 and since that time has been
providing an excellent venue for all sorts of concerts, but mostly those
of the classical and jazz genres.
Jordan Hall is especially renowned
for its amazing beauty and excellent acoustics. This century-old
building holds 1,013 patrons, making it a rather intimate venue
as concert halls go. As a matter of fact, it’s just the right
size for families and kids won’t be overwhelmed by its size.
This one-of-a-kind performing arts venue was designated a
National Historic Landmark by the Department of the Interior National Park Service in April
1994, and in 1995, an $8.2 million renovation project began on the
concert hall, restoring it to its original beauty.
