The masterpiece of architecture we know today as Cutler Majestic Theater is the work of architect John Galen Howard who trained at the L’Ecole des Beaux Arts in the late 1800s. He implemented the Rococo style and the new invention called the light bulb to create an opera house like no other. He accentuated the tall columns and the soaring arches with 4,500 lights to design a visual like no other.
