First Night 2005!
Description:  First Night New Year's Eve activities take place from 1pm to midnight on Friday, December 31, 2004 at over 30 indoor and outdoor venues throughout downtown Boston. First Night features the very best in theatre, dance, music, visual arts, film and more.

New Year's Eve Celebration
Description:  There’s no better way to see the annual gala fireworks display than from a comfortable, heated boat on Boston Harbor. You can even see smaller fireworks displays taking place in surrounding communities. This cruise will be a great chance to do something unique to ring in 2005! The New Year's Eve Cruise promises to make your evening memorable as you watch the sky light up in brilliant colors, dance to music played by the D.J., and enjoy a gourmet Italian dinner catered by Ristorante Marino. Reservations are required.

Location:  Odyssey Cruises
Rain or Shine. Boarding begins at 7:30pm. Depart from Long Wharf, Boston at 8pm (Right near the State Street T stop and easily accessible by both car, bus, and water shuttle). Cruise returns at Time:  7:30pm - 12:30am

The Resolution Ball
Description:  The 8th Annual Resolution Ball Celebration  is full of fun and frolic for young professionals in their 20s, 30s, 40s... mostly small and large groups of friends looking to have fun and socialize and have a great time. This upscale New Year’s event attracts over 1,800 young professionals from Boston and across New England. It is a one-of-a-kind event, bringing a local charity together with Boston’s young professional community, creating an incomparable New Year’s Eve event.
