The John F. Kennedy Library and Museum is dedicated to the memory of America’s 35th president and its mission is to “advance the study and understanding of President Kennedy's life and career and the times in which he lived; and to promote a greater appreciation of America's political and cultural heritage, the process of governing and the importance of public service.”

The beautiful 9-story building that houses the library is architecturally stunning and the 9.5 acre gardens that surround the structure are lovely as well and are a great place for a leisurely stroll, with landscaping that’s reminiscent of Cape Cod.

The John F. Kennedy Library attracts nearly a quarter million tourists and school children each year, all there to enjoy the educational and interesting displays on Kennedy’s life and his impact on America, especially during his brief presidency.

The library also offers a myriad of educational programs for all ages, on a variety of subjects that encourage public understanding of the American democratic system through discussion of current and historical issues and events and participation in age-appropriate activities.
