Life is Good Pumpkin Festival

At the Life is Good Pumpkin Festival…well, life is good! This
day-long event benefits Camp Sunshine for kids, and makes it fun to
help others. You can bring your carved pumpkin and candles to
register for the Guinness World Record for the most lit pumpkins—now
where else can

you do that? If that’s not enough fun for you, there’s plenty more to welcome
you.
A Pyramid of Pumpkins 40 feet high will greet your arrival, sure
to inspire a little wonder from the kids, and some “Cool”
comments too. Good old-fashioned family fun is the theme of the
day, with food and activities like face-painting and magic shows
to entertain one and all.
Adding to the
charm are a pie-eating contest, a hay maze, a carving contest
and the Gargantuan Gourds Guessing Game. Four live bands will
keep toes tapping and heads bobbing during the festivities.
The
Halloween spirit is combined with the spirit of giving at this
pumpkiny day, with al profits going to benefit the Camp, a retreat
for kids with life-threatening illnesses. Come out and dance the day
away while supporting a terrific cause, and your kids will learn all
about the fun of the holiday along with some bigger lessons of the
heart.

the way, it takes 28,952 pumpkins to break the world record, so you
are definitely needed at this smashing event.
