Prudential Center Skywalk provides visitors to Boston with the best
views of the city. Everyone will love the sights from 52 stories
above the ground at this observatory that, for years, was part of
the tallest building in Boston. (The Hancock Tower, at 60 stories,
is now taller.)
The huge glass windows provide a 360
degree panoramic view of this marvelous colonial city, and
guests can take an Antenna Audio Tour that will help them
recognize the sites below and educate them as to the history of
the facility.
Rumor has it that on really clear days, you can
see Cape Cod from this completely enclosed observatory!
The Prudential Center Skywalk is open seven days a week but does
sometimes close for private functions.
In the remainder of the tower, office
space is plentiful, and on the first floor, there are about 50 shops
and restaurants for everyone to enjoy, including Lord and Taylor and
Saks Fifth Avenue department stores.
