Paul
Revere's House is one of Boston's most-visited historical buildings.
Home from 1770-1800 of the famous silversmith who made the Midnight
Ride that warned Bostonians that the British were arriving, the home attracts
families who enjoy American history as well as aficionados of 18th
century architecture.
The house is shown by guided tour only
and is located on the 2.5 mile Freedom Trail, close to Quincy
Marketplace and Faneuil Hall. Guides offer lots of interesting historical information about
Paul Revere and his family, the famous Midnight Ride, and the
town of Boston during the Revolutionary War era.
The museum offers many special events each month, including
several that are designed especially for kids such as storytimes
or interactive workshops that include fun topics such as "How to
Write with a Quill Pen."
The Paul
Revere House's museum gift shop sells lots of Paul Revere
memorabilia as well as kid's books, games, and souvenirs.
