Fenway
Park, home of the World Champion Boston Red Sox, is the
quintessential old ballpark and the perfect place for a family to enjoy a day in Boston. Built in 1912, Fenway is reminiscent of the
ball parks of long ago, nearly unchanged since the early years.
Kids will be amazed that the park's old
hand-operated scoreboard is still in use and they'll love the
intimate atmosphere of the ballpark.
There's nothing quite like munching on some hot peanuts or a
tasty hotdog while watching one of the best teams in baseball.
For
families who want to go behind-the-scenes, consider a fun Fenway
Park Tour, where visitors have the opportunity to walk on the
field and visit the press box and broadcast booths.
