Have You Been Here? Write about it!

Faneuil Hall, built in 1742, is an old market building which was once the site of town meetings where famous Americans like Samuel Adams and others spoke out against the British. Back then, much like today, shops and stalls lined the first floor.

Visitors to modern-day Faneuil Hall marketplace will find 100 stores and carts lining the walkways, and it’s a great place for families to shop for souvenirs and other items to help them remember their trip to Boston. The marketplace also features 40 eateries, so even families with picky kids are sure to find something they’ll enjoy.

Special events occur at the marketplace all year long and in the warm summer months, street entertainers roam the area, including magicians, jugglers, musicians, and mimes, literally from all over the world.
