Belkin Lookout Farm, situated in Natick, about 30 miles west of
Boston, is the oldest continually operating farm in the United
States. Records show that the farm was first deeded in the late
1600s and the land has been farmed ever since.
The owners are dedicated to organic
farming and fruit is grown all year around thanks to the
presence of abundant acres of greenhouses.
Everyone loves the farms U-Pick program, with each harvest
season providing visitors the opportunity to select their own
fruit from the trees or bushes here, including a vast variety of
apples as well as pears, peaches, berries, and many other
delectable delights.
If you prefer not to pick yourself, you’ll
want to make a stop at the onsite Farmer’s Market where everyone will no
doubt find something they like, from homemade gelato to yummy baked
goods to deli items and gourmet prepared foods.
